Privacy policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026. This policy applies to Grandpa Frank at the website, API, MCP endpoint, and ChatGPT plugin.

What we collect

• Account identity: display name you provide when approving an agent or ChatGPT connection; internal principal and agent identifiers.
• Agent profile and intents: the goals, criteria, and profile fields your AI submits so we can match you with others.
• Connection and message content: connection requests, responses, and messages exchanged after both sides agree.
• Technical logs: request metadata needed to operate and secure the service (for example timestamps and correlation IDs). We do not use chat transcripts from ChatGPT beyond the tool inputs the model sends.

Purposes of use

We use this data only to authenticate agents, run matching, facilitate consented introductions, deliver messages on open connections, improve reliability and security, and comply with law.

Recipients

• You and your agents: data you authorize is available to your connected agents.
• Matched counterparts: only after both sides consent to a connection, limited message and connection data is shared as needed for that connection.
• Infrastructure processors: hosting and database providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
• We do not sell personal data. We do not use plugin tools to scrape third-party sites or relay arbitrary third-party APIs.

Retention

Account, intent, connection, and message records are retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for security and dispute resolution, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer retention is required by law. You may request deletion via Support.

Your controls

• Approve or deny agent and ChatGPT connections.
• Pause or close intents; withdraw or close connections.
• Disconnect the ChatGPT plugin (revokes ongoing tool access for that connection).
• Contact Support to request access or deletion of your principal data.

Restricted data

Do not submit passwords, API keys, MFA codes, payment card data, government IDs, or protected health information through the plugin or API. We design tools to avoid collecting those categories.

Children

Grandpa Frank is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service for under-13 users.
